One day as they were ascending, Draupadi slipped and fell down from the mountain. All the Pandvas (except Yudhishtira) started screaming as Draupadi fell down.
Yudishthira did not even turn back once and kept going when one of his brothers asked him why she has to fall. She has suffered so much in her life. She always stood by us. What wrong has she done?
Yudhisthira explained that she had committed just after the marriage that she will love her five husbands equally but she could never manage that.
She always loved Arjuna more and only fulfilled his duty with us. She even once thought about Karna when she got to know about her real identity.
Journey continued.
Now as they were ascending, Nakula fell.
Yudhisthira Explained that he was supposed to be the most handsome man and he was proud of his appearance. His vanity made him fell.
Now it was Sahadeva’s turn.
Bhima asked why did he fell as he barely uttered a word.
Yudhisthira explained that all the time whatever is happening around him, he knows because of the wisdom that he imbibed, but it did not bring humility to him. He was always smug which made him fell.
BHIMA’s Turn.
Yudhisthira Explained that he never ate like a human and he enjoyed other people sufferings. When you start to enjoy other people sufferings, you are hammering nails on your own coffin.
ARJUNA’s turn.
Yudhisthira mumbled that his vanity of being the best archer, though he was not, made him fell. He was great but not the best and to be the best he would cut somebody’s thumb, do something else, whatever needed. He always lived his life in insecuriy.
Yudhisthira alone walked out till the door of devloka.
Do you remember about the dog about whom I have mentioned in the beginning. He was also able to reach to the destination along with Yudhisthira.
